Petbook Veterinary Clinic

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything pet parents ask us before their first visit — and a WhatsApp line for anything we missed.

What services does Petbook Veterinary Clinic offer?

We provide a full range of veterinary services including general check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, surgery, dental care, pet nutrition plans, grooming, emergency care, and preventive health programs tailored for your pet.

How can I book an appointment?

Message us on WhatsApp on +971 54 888 3686 — that is the fastest way and how most of our clients book. You can also call the same number, use the booking form on this site, or walk in. You will get a confirmation before the appointment.

Do you accept walk-in patients?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting times and ensure your preferred time slot.

Do you provide emergency veterinary care?

Yes — our emergency line is answered 24/7, day and night. If your pet is in a critical condition, call us first on +971 54 888 3686 so the team can prepare for your arrival at our Al Quoz 3 clinic.

What types of pets do you treat?

We primarily treat cats, dogs, and small domestic pets. For exotic animals, birds, or reptiles, please contact us in advance so we can advise on specialized care availability.

Do you provide vaccinations for pets?

Absolutely. We follow internationally approved vaccination schedules to protect your pets against diseases like rabies, parvovirus, feline distemper, and more. The vaccination package is AED 199 and a single viral vaccine is AED 80, and every dose is recorded both in your pet’s book and in our clinic file.

Can I get pet medications and prescriptions at the clinic?

Yes, our in-house pharmacy stocks a wide range of medications, supplements, and prescription diets. Your veterinarian will provide the right treatment plan for your pet. There is no return of the medicine or diet food.

Do you offer pet grooming and wellness packages?

Yes, we provide grooming services such as bathing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat care — from AED 89 a session, or AED 249 for the grooming-plus-vaccination package for cats and dogs under 10kg — along with wellness packages that combine preventive check-ups, vaccinations, and nutrition consultations.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and approved digital payment options. Some treatments may require deposits, which will be communicated during booking.

Can you arrange home visits for my pet?

Yes, we offer veterinary doctor home visits in Dubai for routine check-ups, vaccinations, and minor treatments. Please contact us to schedule.

How do you handle pet medical records?

All pet health records are securely stored in our system and accessible to you upon request. We ensure complete confidentiality in line with our Privacy Policy.

What should I bring for my pet’s first visit?

Bring your pet's vaccination card or passport, the microchip number if it has one, and any reports from a previous clinic. If your pet is on medication, bring the box rather than the name — the dose matters. Cats travel best in a closed carrier and dogs on a short lead. If the visit is about diarrhoea, a fresh stool sample saves a second trip. Pets that arrived from abroad should also bring their import paperwork and rabies certificate.

Do you offer pet boarding or hospitalization?

Yes, we provide both: short-term boarding for healthy pets while you travel, from AED 60 a night under our current offer, and hospitalization under full medical supervision for pets needing fluids, monitoring, or recovery after surgery.

How do I know if my pet needs urgent veterinary attention?

Signs such as difficulty breathing, refusal to eat, vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, sudden weakness, or accidents require immediate veterinary care. If you are unsure, call us immediately for guidance.

How do I find your clinic and where do I park?

We are at The Curve Building, Shop G08, Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Quoz 3, Dubai. There is parking at the building rather than a mall car park, which matters when you are carrying an unwell pet. Message us on WhatsApp if you cannot find the entrance and we will guide you in.
