First Vaccination Package
For a new kitten, or a rescue starting with no history at all.
199 AED
- General, fungal and ear examination
- First core viral vaccine
- Deworming, microchip and passport
- Dental examination before you leave
The feline course, start to finish — the core combination, the kitten series, feline leukaemia where it is warranted, and the yearly booster your cattery will ask to see.
Cat vaccination in Dubai at Petbook Veterinary Clinic in Al Quoz 3 is priced the way it should be. A single viral vaccine is AED 80. The full package — examination, vaccine, deworming, dental check and the record — is AED 199, with no consultation fee bolted on at the desk. Every price the clinic publishes is listed on our vet prices in Dubai page.
Cats are not small dogs, and the feline course is its own thing. The core combination covers panleukopenia, herpesvirus and calicivirus — the three that go through a cattery in days — while feline leukaemia is weighed separately, for cats with outdoor access. Which of them your cat is due is decided in the room, not copied off a chart. For dogs, or a household with both, start at our pet vaccination in Dubai page.
Rabies sits alongside the core course and is required by UAE law — the certificate and the municipality paperwork are covered on our rabies vaccine in Dubai page. And if you fly out this summer while she stays behind, sort the record first: cat boarding in Dubai will not take a cat whose card has lapsed.
The package covers the exam, the vaccine, deworming, the dental check and the record. A single viral vaccine on its own is AED 80.
The carrier is opened in the consult room, not in reception, and restraint stays as light as the cat allows.
A signed record plus a digital copy we keep — so a lost booklet never costs you a cattery booking or a flight.
For a cat who fights the carrier, or a multi-cat home, the visit can happen at your flat instead of ours.

We brought Mofu and Nami in for their first vaccination today and had such a great experience. The team was welcoming, patient, and handled the kittens with so much care. Everything was explained clearly, and we left feeling reassured and thankful. Highly recommend this clinic to fellow pet parents!
I had all three of my cats vaccinated at this clinic, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The veterinarians and staff were very professional, gentle, and caring with my cats, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
Very professional, they took really good care of my cat (Tender). The doctor was really informative and supportive, he suggested a few things for my 4-month-old cat and I saw quick changes in her.

AED 199 for the package, AED 80 for a single viral vaccine — the same numbers at the desk.
Two packages, both AED 199 — one for a kitten starting from zero, one for the adult booster visit. A single viral vaccine on its own is AED 80. These are the clinic's published prices and the desk quotes the same numbers you read here. Anything outside a vaccination visit is quoted before it starts — message us on WhatsApp for a same-day quote.

The injection is the shortest part of the appointment. Everything around it decides whether the vaccine is right — and whether today is the day.
A record book, a foreign certificate, an adoption paper, or nothing at all. What she has already had decides what she gets today.
Weight, temperature, eyes, ears, mouth and coat. A vaccine belongs in a well cat — if she is brewing cat flu today, the vet says so and rebooks you.
The lid comes off in the consult room and she stays on the towel she arrived on. Less restraint means a cleaner examination, not just a calmer cat.
The core feline combination, and feline leukaemia only where her life warrants it — outdoor access, a shared home, or a household that keeps taking in new cats.
Deworming is inside the package, dosed on the day, with a proper look through the coat for fleas while she is on the table.
You leave with the signed record; we keep the copy and message you before the booster is due — which is how most lapses happen.

Most of what you pay for happens before the vaccine. A licensed veterinarian works through a general, fungal and ear examination, and if something turns up that needs testing, our in-house laboratory is on site rather than a courier run away — so a kitten with a skin patch or a grumbling ear gets an answer the same visit.
It is the first thing almost every Dubai cat owner says, and it is a fair question. Here is what indoor life actually protects her from — and what it does not.
It survives for months on hard surfaces and travels in on shoes, bags and the lift floor — no open door required.
Car parks and bin areas in Al Quoz are full of free-roaming cats. A balcony gap or a propped service door is all the contact it takes.
Herpesvirus and calicivirus move through catteries, salons and foster homes, then flare back under stress — boarding, a house move, a new kitten.
Catteries, groomers and a growing number of buildings want a current record before your cat comes through the door. No card, no booking.
Street rescues arrive with no history and often with cat flu already brewing. Check and vaccinate the new one before it moves in.
Cats here arrive from everywhere, with record books in formats that do not match. We rebuild the plan from what is genuinely documented.
None of this argues for vaccinating everything every year. Feline leukaemia is a real decision for an outdoor or multi-cat home, and usually not for a single indoor cat — the vet says so rather than adding it quietly to the bill.
A kitten's protection is built over a short series of visits, not one appointment — which is why a kitten who has had "her shot" is often not covered yet. Adults keep it topped up once a year.
How many doses she still needs, and how far apart, depends on the age she started and what she has already had, so the vet sets the dates in the room and writes them on the card.
Vaccinating a cat who is already unwell is a bad idea, and a reaction to a previous vaccine changes what we do next. Any of these means ring us first.
At Petbook a single viral vaccine is AED 80, and the full vaccination package is AED 199 — that covers the examination, the vaccine, deworming, a dental check and the record, with no separate consultation fee. Both packages cost the same whether it is a kitten's first visit or an adult's annual one.
The core one is a combination vaccine covering panleukopenia, herpesvirus and calicivirus, plus rabies, which is required by law here. Feline leukaemia is an extra that is considered for cats with outdoor access or a multi-cat household, not given automatically. Which of them your cat is due, and when, is decided by the veterinarian at the visit.
Yes, and panleukopenia is the reason: it survives for months on surfaces and comes in on shoes, bags and hands without your cat going anywhere. On top of that, catteries, groomers and many buildings in Dubai want a current card, and the annual visit is the one appointment where a vet weighs her and grades her teeth.
Two things. Her cover against the core viruses fades, so she is exposed at exactly the moments she is most likely to meet them — boarding, grooming, a new cat in the house. And the record lapses, which is what stops a cattery booking or delays travel paperwork. Bring whatever card you have and we will tell you what she actually needs now.
The combination vaccine most people mean by "4 in 1" or "tri-cat" is a single viral vaccine — AED 80 at Petbook on its own, or included in the AED 199 package alongside the examination, deworming, the dental check and the record. Exactly which combination is used is the veterinarian's call on the day.
